JOB SUMMARY
Employee performs a variety of general office work routine in nature and may assist Parks office staff with various job duties. Year-round position; averages 30-32 hours per week, 9am-4pm, 1 hour lunch.

QUALIFICATIONS
• High School diploma or GED
• Prefer prior experience in clerical position.
• Certification in CPR and First Aid preferred.
• Knowledge of reading, writing and arithmetic sufficient to apply to routine clerical duties.
• Valid Tennessee Driver License

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Performs routine clerical work such as copying, filing, recording data.
• Meeting and dealing with the public.
• Gives out routine information concerning facility and parks.
• Assists public in filling out forms.
• Directs incoming calls and gives routine information.
• Schedule appointments.
• May occasionally temporarily fill in for Recreation Desk staff by operating cash drawer and perform daily balances.
• Light housekeeping of work area. Helps maintain cleanliness of machines. Reports incidents, or malfunctioning equipment to supervisor.
• Conduct behavior at all times in a professional manner to reflect positively on customer and staff’s perception of town facility.
• Works during special events and programs. May assist in planning special events as assigned.
• Promote teamwork environment. Assist coworkers when necessary.
• May work with other departmental managers on occasion, depending on seasonal workloads, performing similar tasks as assigned.
• Any other duties as assigned by Supervisor.

OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provide coverage in absence of other personnel.
